How I got Here and Where I’m Going

Looking for the power to make a positive impact on peoples’ daily lives, I decided to study Software Engineering. Unfortunately, I often felt out of place. While my classmates were asking how to run a SQL query, I was asking which database type would give an experience of consistency and security.

It wasn’t until I took courses in Human Computer Interaction and Design Thinking that I felt I was making the most of the curiosity and compassion that brought me to Tech in the first place. I felt at home working together with people of all academic backgrounds towards the common goals of understanding and serving the needs of others.

Nowadays, once I’ve closed my small army of Adobe apps, I spend my time singing, sketching, and meandering, with and without my adorable Alaskan Klee Kai, taking in the weird and wonderful world around me.
